Judges Critique

Baby Puppy Dog

  1. Lambda Euro Star
  2. Lambda First Star

So the first place puppy, lovely bone. Nice-bodied dog, nice tail set. I liked his head better than the number two puppy.
They both moved equally in front, going around. The first dog is a little over-angulated behind, which gives him that extreme topline. But overall, he was a nicer puppy, in my opinion

Minor Puppy Dog

  1. Boxberry Without Measure

This is a nice young dog. He needs to be more sure of himself. I think he's got a good temperament, that is one thing that I'm a huge stickler on is having the temperament to be able to do the job that they were bred to do. This dog has beautiful feet, which is a problem in this breed, in everywhere I go. He's a little bit long in his loin for me, but he was in very nice condition

Puppy Dog

  1. Lambda Christmas Comet
  2. Milmac Calvin Klein

Both of these dogs have great temperaments, and lovely bone. I like the first dog's head a little bit better.
He's more boxerish, nice top line on this dog. Good tail set.
The second dog, a little heavy in his head for me, and he falls off a bit in his croup, and that's where I made my decision. I like the length of body on the second dog better than the first dog.

Junior Dog

  1. Ch Hogwartz Starbound At Kesdar*
  2. Ch Jaytyry Autumn Glory

I have to say, this first place dog caught my eye as he came in the ring. He's a very nice, well put together dog.
Good top line, nice tail set. Pretty headed dog, nice length of neck. Great bone, decent feet.
The second dog,  he's a little heavy in his head for me. I would like to see a better top line on him, but lovely bone, nice length of neck to go along with the rest of his body

Junior dog eventual challenge winner, and Best Exhibit in Show

Australian Bred Dog

1. Grand Ch Boxberry miracle On The Hudson

Again, this dog has good feet. Nice bone.
I'd like to see a little bit more neck, honey. And a little bit more laid back of shoulder. He's fairly sound.
A little too much head for me.

Open Dog

1. Sup Ch Kesdar Fifty Shades Darler at Tonmar

This dog to me is a little plain in his head. He's got a nice body.
He's in beautiful muscular condition. Nice feet. He’s sound... nice tail set, nice angulation behind.
I'd like to see a little bit more neck on it, but not bad

Challenge and Reserve

My challenge winner, like I said, when he walked to my class, he caught my eye.  He's a very nice dog altogether. He's very sound. I liked his head the best of all. Yeah. He's got a nice bite.

My reserve dog is a very nice dog, as well. I just want him to be a little bit more sure of himself.

Minor Puppy Bitch

1. Boxberry I Gave Ya A Muffin

This puppy has lovely substance. She's a little long in her loin, and could use some strengthening of that, I think, just some exercise would help you. She's a little shorter neck than I would like and not as much fill under her eye as I would like.
Relatively sound, in a good temperament

Puppy Bitch

1. Lambda Christmas Belle

This bitch has lovely bone and substance. Um, nice top line, good tail set.   I just got... a decent front assembly.
And a pretty face. Oh, she's got a nice fill under her eye. I would like to see her move a little bit better behind. Challenge Bitch winner

Junior Bitch

1. Ch Blueprint Summer Breeze
2. Ch Lambda Meant Tobe

Again, this bitch has beautiful feet. Like I said, it's a problem in the breed in our country as well. And so I have to reward it when I see it.
I would like this bitch to be a hair bit shorter in her loin. She's got a lovely neck, pretty face. And she's nice and easy on her legs.
My second bitch, I would like to see a little bit more length of muzzle on her. She's got good fill. She's got a lot of bone.
A little too much wither, but she's got a lot of front in that assembly.

Intermediate Bitch

1. Ludgina Autumn Mist

This bitch is nice and short backed, very square, which I love in a boxer. She's got nice bone, nice feet. I would like to give her a little bit more fill under the eyes, and she's a little short necked.  But this is a bitch that probably will be a very good producer

Australian Bred Bitch

1. Ch Binbella Touch of Spice at Kesdar
2. Ch Nitewatch An Enchanted Kiss (AI)
Ch Boxberry Call Me Maybe

Okay, I had to make a decision in this class, which is nice to do. My first place bitch is... just shorter bodied than the other bitch. The other bitch, I think, when her rib springs, I think she will look shorter than she does right now.
Um, I think it's just a maturity thing. The first place bitch also, she's got better fill under her eye than my second place bitch. Both sound coming and going, and around the ring.
My third place bitch, she's a little shorter on legs than I would like. She's got a lot of body. I'd like to see her hold her top line better when she goes around.
1st Reserve Challenge Bitch

 Open Bitch

1. Ch Milmac Shelby Ford (GT (AI)
2. Ch Lambda Lucky Star

So my first place bitch in this class is a nice, short, square bitch. Lovely bone. Nice fill under her eye.
Nice neck and arch, good tail set. My second bitch is a bit longer in loin than the first bitch.  She's got a nice top line. And I would like to see a little bit more neck on my second place bitch as well
